Purpose of the Study
Recent academic literature shows a positive correlation between prosocial activities and one’s well-being. However, studies also show that the motivation to do prosocial activities contradicts religious doctrines, affecting the well-being of people when they conduct prosocial activities. Hence, the purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between religious belief and one’s well-being in relations to prosocial activities.
Description of Procedure
Participants will be asked to state their religious affiliations, whether or not they have done any form of prosocial activities during the COVID-19 period, and to fill in a 54-items Ryff’s Psychological Well-being scale to analyse their well-being level.
